Went there today & said permanently closed. This was my favorite Japanese in town & went here regularly. Very upset I can no longer eat @ this restaurant.

The food and service were awesome! Presentation and taste were superb! Will def come back! Try the banana shrimp roll, crispy dried beef lunch box with vegetable fried rice and the salmon sushi bar fajita! You won't be sorry!

This restaurant is very clean and well lit. We were greeted and seated promptly. There is a great variety of food items on the menu. The gyoza wrappers were thin and delicate. The pork filling was very tasty with ginger and garlic. The sauce wasn't salty. In fact, at the end of the meal, I can say I'm not thirsty. The sushi was very fresh and the seaweed was crunchy and there wasn't an excessive amount of rice on the seaweed wrapper and I liked that. My bok choy was very clean. No sand at All! The chicken was cut thin. The whole entree was very light and delicious. I ordered the pineapple fried rice w chicken and it was very tasty. There was an interesting spice in it which imparted a very good flavor. She finished the meal with the red bean ice cream and that was slightly sweet. I would come here again when we return to the area in May.

Came here for lunch and they were super quick. If you're on a strict 1 hour lunch break, this is the place to go! They have your typical japanese lunch specials, along with all your typical chinese take out dishes. I went with the udon lunch box and it was a good amount of food. Great price for what you get and the food was pretty good. It was a little greasy and more of your "msg chinese" type of food, but for a lunch special it was good. For the price and the food, I would come back if I was in the area. This won't make it to my list of go to places, but I'd have no hesitations with coming back here again.

Quick delivery. A lil pricey but definitely worth the food. Tastes amazing. Sushi. Asian food. They have amazing vegetable rolls with their sauce to match.

Best sushi I've ever had and I've had a lot of sushi. I got 3 rolls: CA Roll, Salmon Roll, spicy yellow tail and I can't decide which one I like more. If you have the chance to come here you will not be disappointed. The staff had cute Asian chicks too so that's a plus. Come here today.

I've been here a few times now for lunch. I've had a consistent experience in service and food each time. I'm usually seated right away during lunch and the food usually arrives within 20 minutes. I've had the General Tso's Chicken. This is a high quality entree. You get all white meat with broccoli and your choice of white, brown, or vegetable rice. You also get a soup or salad includes. It's about $9 on the lunch special menu. This meal I highly​ recommend. I've also had the sushi rolls various ones they were all delicious. I'll definitely keep coming back. service is pretty fast as well and even faster if you order the Chinese food.

Really lovely sushi ... super fresh, nice easy location. Plenty of parking and close to the gym for a post workout bite. Good for groups or a quiet table for two. Sushi bar is off to the side and would sit there next time. If I lived in the are, I would totally come here all the time. Their menu is nice fusion, so not just sushi. The table next to us had the grand mariner shrimp and I almost asked for a bite, it looked so good!

As I have said before, my wife and I will travel up 1.5 hours away to eat at places we love or hear are excellent! Since moving to the end of the Earth, Bayville, I was looking for a great Asian restaurant and found it in Haiku. Before we were trekking to Queens all the time but now we don't have to. The wonderful thing about this place is that there are so many varieties of Asian food that they do well. From Indian to Chinese to Japanese; it is all great. The Indian pancake is an excellent way to start, followed by any of the entrees with a side of sushi! Yes, I eat a tremendous amount! As for the service, since we starting going there, the staff has been attentive and friendly; and the manager is the best!
